Through this book I have frequently made reference to the record BIM. Conceptually, a record BIM is the single composite reference model for a construction project that contains the information from the project embedded within the model and linked to all relevant files. Although this is possible using today's technology, it is hardly feasible using current processes. The process of completing a record BIM involves additional resources throughout construction.
