6.6. Conclusion

In William McDonough's book Cradle to Cradle, he lays a strong framework for a philosophy of rethinking the way we make and construct things. And by things, I mean literally everything. In the way we choose materials, we need to think about how the material can be reused and what part (or all) of it can be recycled at the end of the product's life. In the way we use fuel, we need to think about how to consume limited resources and how to use materials that can be reused or recycled, with nothing going to the landfill.
