Analyzing Airlines, Airports, Flights, and Delays
In this chapter we analyze the flight data as related to the actual flights, delays, their reasons, and the performance of the airports. The analysis is done using Splunk search commands that were introduced in previous chapters as well as with new commands and features, such as analysis and reporting acceleration. We also discuss ways to visualize results from the searches we build, which otherwise produce results that can be very busy and difficult to understand.
