Usability labs are a great tool for learning how relatively small numbers of users interact with a design. But we think it's time to move beyond that. The technology now exists to cost-effectively collect user experience data from hundreds or even thousands of users. Large-scale user experience research brings together a rich set of qualitative and quantitative data about how users interact with a design and their experience.
