AMONG THOSE WHO STUDY and work on enterprise transformation, there’s a healthy debate about the direction from which change ought to come. Some argue that the bottom-up model is best, and others prefer a hybrid of bottom-up and top-down. Our experience has demonstrated that, although transformation must evolve to be a hybrid, it absolutely must start at the top.
