Bob Matha and Macy Boehm are partners in and cofounders of Basics 3, a leadership communications and employee engagement firm headquartered in Chicago. They also serve as senior internal communication advisors to clients of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Bob and Macy have worked together for more than fifteen years to develop the philosophy, processes, and techniques outlined in Beyond the Babble. They have coauthored a number of white papers, including Reinventing Internal Communications to Get Business Results, which was published in Public Relations: The Complete Guide (with Joe Marconi, South-Western, 2004), and they have been featured speakers at the Arthur Page Society and the Advanced Learning Institute.
