The Action Equation.

Know + Feel = Do. The action equation first focuses a leader's thinking on what employees need to do in order to execute strategy or support the company's position on an issue. Then it expands that thinking to address what employees need to know and feel so they take the right actions. Moreover, it helps identify what is critical to communicate, and it filters out communication that wastes time or, worse, could be counterproductive to driving action and results.
