What This Book Is About
I wrote Beyond Requirements to paint a picture of analysis in IT projects and how it can be applied with an agile mindset to make those projects more effective. For the purposes of this book I think of analysis as the activities involved with
• Understanding stakeholders
• Understanding context
• Understanding the need
• Understanding the solution(s)
• Organizing and persisting solution information
Performing these activities with an agile mindset, which I explain in Chapter 1, best positions teams to satisfy stakeholder needs.
