The most valuable resource we have is each other.

When we work together, when we can learn not just from each other but with each other, we can do anything. But collaboration doesn’t just happen. We have to set ourselves up for success in collaboration the same way we’ve to set ourselves up for success in anything else.

No one—I hope!—just jumps behind the wheel of a car for the first time ever at the start of a driver’s license test. We get a learner’s permit, learn the rules of the road, get comfortable with driving around an empty parking lot…

We learn to drive, then we go take the test.
