Be Willing to Flex

Project management isn’t necessarily known for its flexibility, but reality sometimes forces that necessity on us all. We can either be ready for change or be thrown by it.

Maybe you’re willing to flex on scope. Or maybe you’re willing to flex some on release dates. But in fact we have to be able to flex on both of them. Notice we say “scope” and “dates” because the word “resources” does not apply to people.

People are not scalable.
