In the “Hands-On: Spanish” chapter, you localized an English-language web page into Spanish. In this chapter, you’re going to take that same English source page (see Figure 2) and localize it into three additional languages: French, German, and Italian. By focusing on languages (French, German, and Italian) rather than countries (France, Germany, Italy), you increase the size of your potential audience—from 188 million to 267 million (although regional language differences could lower this total somewhat).
