Before you can budget your project, you need to know how many words are to be translated. Don’t rely on your word processor for counting words, as it will count everything, including HTML tags. Instead, use a software application that counts only the text between the tags. One widely used tool is WebBudget (you can download a free version at www.webbudget.com).
