The tools used for this project are not cutting edge, nor do they need to be. The characters in the Spanish language are included in the Latin 1 character set, so just about any software application created in the past eight years will do. For this exercise, the following applications will be used:

Operating system: Microsoft Windows ME
Graphics: Adobe Illustrator 9
HTML: Macromedia Dreamweaver 3
Word count: WebBudget (free version)
