BEYOND THE .COM

Although “.com” might always be your company’s primary address on the Internet, why limit yourself to just one address? If you invest the resources into localizing your web site for new markets, consider localizing your URL as well. The DNS is not the most user-friendly system. By registering a country domain or multilingual domain, or both, you can make the DNS a little more user friendly for your customers, no matter where they live or what language they speak—and you may gain a few new customers as well.
