SWITCHING BACK TO ENGLISH

This chapter wasn’t easy. There were a lot of foreign terms, technobabble, and complex issues, many of which will take a while to sink in. Don’t assume that you need to understand everything immediately. Many of these concepts have to be experienced to be learned, and as you work through the chapters ahead, particularly the Hands-On elements, the technical issues will become clearer.

Now that you have a feel for the inner workings of the multilingual Internet, you’ll better understand the outer workings of localized web sites. In the next chapter, you’ll see how real companies tackle the real-world problems of web globalization.
