C.1. Extract Test Information from Program Plans, Process 1.1

The purpose of the Extract Test Information From Program Plans process is to enable test engineers to determine the requirements for the formal test program that are contained in the various predecessor documents on the program. These predecessor documents include the Program Management Plan (PMP), the Software Development Plan (SDP), the Software Quality Assurance Plan (SQAP) or Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), and the Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP) or Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
