There are some simple metrics to track your effort to release often. The most obvious is to review and map your release history. Decide what release cadence you want to establish and set a path for that pace. Your existing customers may not have urgent needs requiring them to immediately move up to your latest releases, but selling to new customers may require that you ship more frequently. If releases are costly to install, then evaluate why that is, and prioritize improvements to product installs and migrations.
