2:3 pulldown—name for the process of transferring 24 frames per second film to 30 frames per second video. A cadence of one film frame for two fields followed by one film frame for three fields expands the speed from 24 to 30.

216—Lee’s number designation for “Full Tough White” diffusion, an opaque white gel. The number has been adopted by several other manufacturers.

250—Lee’s number designation for “Half Tough White” diffusion, having half the opacity of 216, therefore half the diffusion properties. The number has been adopted by several other manufacturers.
