A few weeks ago I was asked to lecture at a college for a course in advanced cinematography. The professor requested that I include color theory in my lecture and at first I was a little overwhelmed at the concept. Color theory could fill an entire curriculum in and of itself— yet I only had a scant three hours to speak, and that was to be just one of the topics.
