Using PhoneGap with Sencha Touch
Sencha Touch is a product from a company originally called “ExtJS.” “ExtJS” is a popular company in the Ajax RIA world that provides a rich polished JavaScriptui framework named “ExtJS”. The popular products of this company are “ExtJS” JavaScriptui framework, “Ext-GWT”, GWT UI framework (GWT counter part of ExtJS), and “Sencha Touch” JavaScript library for mobiles.
“ExtJS” company was recently renamed to “Sencha”. So, while the name is new, what goes in “Sencha Touch” library is based on years of experience building UI using JavaScript.
