7.5. Summary
In this chapter, you learned about many different ways of affecting the way that your pages present information to the user.
Page layouts, which are specific to an individual page
User interface defaults, which provide a default value whenever a field for a particular column is used in a form or a report
Page Zero, which gives you the ability to include interface components or code on every page in an application
Templates, which provide enormous flexibility to format all the pages of a certain type in an application
Themes, a collection of templates, which can be used to provide an overall look and feel for all your applications
All of these options work together to give you a great deal of flexibility in the user interface used by your APEX applications. In the next chapter, you will explore one last area of additional functional flexibility through the use of PL/SQL procedural code.
