With each step, you add more customized functionality to your application, through a declarative, easy-to-use interface.

The next section will explore one of the richest areas of default functionality in APEX — reporting and charts. In this chapter, you will not have to do a lot of work, since the built-in functionality of interactive reports is so rich, but you will see a whole lot of functionality that comes along with any APEX application.
