10.3. Deployment
Up to this point, most readers will have been running their application in a hosted APEX environment. This environment is fine for the development of your applications, with the significant caveat that Oracle Corporation does not provide any guarantees for the stability of that environment or its data.

Once you complete the initial development of your application, you will probably have to make a decision about where the production application will run. You will have to decide what deployment option you will use for the production application and then take the appropriate actions for that deployment.
The deployment process for APEX workspaces, applications, and components is a two-step process. You first export the desired entities to a script file, and you then import that script file and run it to create the entities in the new environment.
