Part 2. Working Across Applications

So far, you've been working on single applications, but OpenOffice.org is a suite of applications designed to make getting data from one part into another very simple. This means, for example, that you can take a chart from Calc, embed it in an Impress presentation or Writer document, and have the chart update as data is updated in the original spreadsheet; or take an image from Draw, add web-style hotspots, and import the whole thing intact into a Write-based web site.
