Common Matchmaking Scenarios

Before we begin working with matches and invitations themselves, it is important to understand some of the scenarios that you might encounter in your quest to implement multiplayer networking into your iOS app or game.

  • The first, and probably most common, scenario that you could encounter would be players who are already in your app and want to create an auto-matched game.
