7.4. Summary

Besides using text boxes for inputting and displaying field data, you can use expression box controls for displaying expressions or formulas. InfoPath provides formatting for the expressions as well as the means for inputting the expressions themselves by the entering the formulas directly or by using a wizard.

InfoPath also provides a means for adding your own buttons using either some built-in actions provided or by adding your own code or script.

Drop-down list boxes, as well as other list boxes in InfoPath, enable the developer to control how the data is input into the InfoPath form. This is accomplished by either supplying the entries for the list or by specifying the data connection for the data to be displayed.
