Camera and Image Processing

The camera is one of the essential features of Glass and also a perfect fit for it. Two of the most frequently used commands offered on Glass are “Take a picture” and “Record a video,” both using the Glass camera. After a picture or video is taken, sharing is one typical task, but further processing of the image or video to achieve goals such as image recognition, barcode or character recognition, and image or video editing can all be desirable in many use cases. Also, in the latest GDK mini-game samples (https://developers.google.com/glass/samples/mini-games), a cool Fruit Ninja–like game called Shape Splitter detects slices when users move their hands in front of the camera.
