Open Graph Protocol

The Open Graph protocol is a new feature that Facebook announced at the f8 Conference in 2011. Facebook announced a shift to a new interface for its users called Timeline, designed to take the elements you interact with on Facebook and tell your story. In the announcement, Mark Zuckerberg framed this shift to using your data to create a digital scrapbook of your life, allowing you to scroll back easily and see what your friends were doing, and saying, in previous years.
