Summary

Project 35 has introduced the concepts of buttons and slider controls controlling a touch screen. Again, using a GLCD or OLED display would give you greater control over the lighting system. Project 35 could, relatively easily, be extended to control mains powered RGB lighting around a house with the standard light switches replaced with colour OLED displays and touch screens for versatile lighting control.

Chapter 12 has shown that resistive touch screens are very easy to interface with the Arduino and use. With only a short and simple program, a touch screen and an Arduino can give provide flexibility for user control. Coupled with graphic displays, a touch screen becomes a very useful tool for controlling systems.
