11.4. Summary

This Chapter has demonstrated all of the major functionality of AIR to interact with a SQLite embedded database. There were examples that showed how to create a database, create a table, add data, select data, update data, and delete data.

In the next chapter, I will discuss the ability of AIR to interact with the operating system. Features including drag and drop from the file system to AIR and from AIR to the file system will be demonstrated. Also, there will be a section showing how to read and write from the operating system's clipboard.
