8.4. Summary

This Chapter demonstrated AIR's ability to interact with the operating system's file system. It showed how to create, edit, and delete files and folders. It also offered samples showing how to use the built-in file browse controls to browse and select files and folders.

The next Chapter will offer examples of how to build applications that use multiple windows. It will also show how to add NativeMenus to the main application window on Mac OS X.
