7.6. Summary
This Chapter demonstrated many ways to consume data from remote data sources. It showed connections to remote confusion servers using RPC (Remote Procedure Calls), RESTFul data like XML and JSON using HTTPServices, and traditional WSDLs via the invocation of web services. Finally, it demonstrated how to combine multiple services in a MashUp.
The next Chapter will explore the Windowing API included in AIR. We will demonstrate how to create desktop windows with different options enabled or disabled including transparency.
