The heart of interactivity is scripting. In Unity, everything needs to be scripted. Fortunately, there are ready-made scripts from a multitude of sources. Unity ships with a large collection of useful scripts to get you up and running. The Help section is full of examples and snippets of script; it also includes a full Scripting section.
