Acknowledgements

We began publishing Before & After magazine in 1990, and this is our first book, derived from selections from our first 34 issues. It exists because of the vision and hard work of others. I must first thank our business partner Michael Solomon, without whom we simply wouldn’t be here. His contribution reminds me of 2003’s thrilling Fiesta Bowl (which he attended). In the final seconds of a heroic game, Ohio State came up short on the final drive. The season ended, and Miami had won... but, but, wait... there’s a flag on the field. The game is not over, the Buckeyes still live, and they have another shot. They take it, and this time they win.
