ASPIRE: Acronym to help managers remember the key elements of a coaching process that gets desired results. ASPIRE stands for:

•  Assess the situation.

•  Specify the desired outcomes.

•  Plan how they will be achieved.

•  Initiate action.

•  Review progress.

•  Encourage appropriate adjustments.

It can also help you remember how to encourage continuous learning when delegating and coaching.
