The Project

Windmill is open source and freely available at http://www.getwindmill.com. The mailing list is used heavily for decision making, answering questions, and keeping the community up-to-date. Although the mailing list is very effective, the IRC channel is a constant flow of project chatter, and is a great way to get your questions answered quickly.

As the need for the ability to test web applications grows, the community and these tools will only get stronger. Windmill has made its bet on the JavaScript platform to continue running the Web, and the principals of open source to influence the direction of new features. The documentation has proven to be very comprehensive, and the community responsive.
