Configuring WebLogic and J2EE Services

The Services node in the navigation tree contains subnodes for each of the WebLogic and J2EE services provided by WebLogic Server. Each service may control multiple resources that are individually configured and monitored. The services available on WebLogic Server 8.1 are

  • jCOM

  • JDBC

  • JMS

  • Messaging Bridge

  • XML

  • JTA

  • SNMP

  • WTC

  • WLEC (deprecated)

  • Jolt

  • Virtual Hosts

  • Mail

  • FileT3 (deprecated)

Each of the WebLogic and J2EE services is individually created and configured from the WebLogic Administration Console. Many of the services must be deployed on WebLogic Server after being created.
