Summary
We just scraped the top layer of the Enterprise JavaBeans in this chapter. We briefly covered the types of beans, the container, and the services it offers, along with the deployment descriptors that describe the beans. Finally, we covered the different ways to package and deploy Enterprise JavaBeans. We'll cover these topics in detail with respective to each of the bean types in the next three chapters.
