Seek Consistency

When you're paddling a canoe, you'd be well advised to look up and around constantly. Whenever a gap opens up between where you're going and where you want to be going, the sooner you spot the deviation, the quicker you can correct your course—and the less radical your adjustments will need to be. Brand measurement works the same way. Use your observations and the feedback you're receiving from trustworthy sources to look for gaps and progress points. Then work systematically to close the gaps. The more consistent you are at staying on course, the more quickly you'll get where you want to go.
