Our map is now complete—on the discomfort side of the equation. But there is much more to come, and it is one hundred kinds of exciting.

You may be feeling beaten down or depressed or . . . uncomfortable. Good for you! Embrace it! (I’ll show you how to do this in Part II.) And if you are feeling crummy, take heart: I promise that the rest of the book is about tested methods for overcoming addictions to comfort and building your boldness muscle. The hard part will be the application of those methods. Might I suggest that you begin with a decision right now to do the bold thing and apply what you learn? Pledge right now to take the steps needed to abandon your own addiction to comfort.
