This part of the Glossary defines terms that will be encountered when considering how computer systems are arranged, organised and connected to other computer systems. Terms related to the uses of computers are in Parts A and B, and terms concerned with the internal workings of computers are in Parts C and D. Part F is concerned with the way software is used.
