Multicast Routing
The sending of multicast traffic and the reception of this traffic by end stations will require you to coordinate the actions of your RPs and switches. The previous section discussed how the RPs discovered the end stations and the multicast applications in which they're participating. This section discusses how information gets from the server to the end stations, along with the following multicast routing issues:
RPs discovering multicast end stations and servers
RPs sharing multicast information with each other and establishing a path from the server to the end stations
RPs sharing their list of end stations with switches
