Caption generators
Captioning people and information is editorially vital. If you do not know who the interviewee is and what they do, you cannot judge whether they are talking from a neutral standpoint, or have a vested self interest.
While it is possible to put captions on VT in some edit suites, there are a couple of advantages in doing all captioning through the studio. You don’t need to pay for captioning equipment in every edit suite, and it is easier to ensure the same format or house style (font, size, layout etc.) is followed.
