Show Time and Beyond

Whether mixing a show is as comfortable to the FOH engineer as slipping into a favorite coat, or whether the engineer is mixing one of their first shows and wound so tight with anticipation and anxiety they’d vibrate if anyone thought to test the theory and pluck them, the day of the show encompasses all the technical knowledge and skills that go into being a sound engineer, including but not limited to:
