Monocular and 5-inch viewfinder

The viewfinder fitted to a broadcast camera/recorder can be mechanically adjusted to individual preferences. It can be positioned away from the body of the camera, moved backwards and forwards and swivelled into the optimum operating position. There is the facility for focusing the eyepiece and if a camera operator normally wears glasses, a correcting compensating dioptre can replace the supplied viewfinder lens. There are other specialist monocular viewfinders which can replace the standard issue such as the wide-angle viewfinder, which gives a larger image size allowing the cameraman to work with the camera off the shoulder and the extension viewfinder to allow an operating position further back from the lens. ...
