How to do it...

Create a VPC from the VPC wizard in the US-West (Oregon) region using the VPC with a Single Public Subnet option with CIDR range 7.0.0.0/16 for VPC and 7.0.0.0/24 for the subnet as shown in the following screenshot:

Create another VPC from the VPC wizard in the US-East (Ohio) region using the VPC with a Single Public Subnet option with CIDR range 8.0.0.0/16 for VPC and 8.0.0.0/24 for the subnet as shown in the following screenshot:
