How to do it...

The steps are as follows:

1. Browse to the VPC console. Select the Virtual Private Gateways option under the VPN Connections on the left menu. Click on Create Virtual Private Gateway:

2. Provide the Name tag and  you can click on Yes, Create. You can see the State as detached:

3. Click on Attach to VPC. Select the VPC with which you want to attach the VGW. Click on Yes, Attach:
