One of the essential parts of an outdoor 3D scene is a sky. The effect of surrounding sky in a 3D world is achieved by creating skybox or skydome. In Away3D, we will use a skybox. The skybox itself is just a cube with its faces inverted. The part that is responsible for the sky effects is the texture itself.
