Adding Box2D physics to Away3D objects

Box2DFlash is a robust real-time 2D physics engine for the Flash platform. At the time of writing, it is the most optimized and lightweight open source physics engine which is highly popular in the Flash game development community. The engine is a porting from C++ Box2D library to which it owes its outstanding performance. Although Box2D is a 2D engine—that means it lacks a third dimension, with some hacking it can be used in the 3D world and therefore is a smart choice to incorporate in Away3D projects that require CPU-intensive physics simulations. Of course, it still can't close the gap in terms of 3D functionality with engines such as WOW or JigLib but currently the last two are just too heavy to manage ...
