Solving depth-sorting problems with Layers and Render Modes

In this recipe, we are going to master Z-Sorting issues, which you will encounter quite frequently during your development with Away3D. By default, the Away3D engine deals pretty well with depth sorting when the scene geometry positioning isn't complicated. For instance if you disperse a few hundred spheres around your scene, each with different z positions, it is likely that you will see no Z-Sorting issues, except when some of those objects intersect. The potentially troublemaking scenarios are when different objects are located closely to each other and viewed at sloped angles, or cases where there is a background at close distance to the rest of the geometry.
